Kimber Montana 300wsm round

I am working up a round for my Kimber .300wsm using a 180gr Nosler Partition. I did a ladder test using Hodgon 1000 and settled on 63.5 grains.
Now I am working on bullet depth. Stock rounds measure out at 2.790". Nosler calls for 2.815. The distance to the lands is 2.929". Has anyone out there worked up a load and messed with this? What distance does your Kimber like?

What sort of accuracy improvement have you seen in your experimenting?

I reload for cost savings. Factory, or whatever recipe I might follow via a reloading manual is more accurate then I am, even at a bench in a controlled situation.
