I'm right handed but left eye dominant so its easier for me to shoot a rifle left handed. When I was young with good eyes it didnt matter much, but now I wear glasses and its hard for me to see the front sight clearly with either eye. Went to the range Friday and got so disgusted about not being able to see. I use to be able to see the nuts on a flee, sucks to get old.

I support and agree with your retirement plan. I look at all the guns I have as an investment. When I am gone my wife knows to check what I paid for them and compare to what they are selling for now before she sells any if them.

G'Day Fella';s,

Here are a few of my mates and my Kimber 84 Montana's (M&L).
.223, .25-06, 7-08,.308, .280AI.jpg
From left to right we have a .223, my .25-06, a 7-08, .280AI and a .308Win.

Also, here is an image of my Target II in .38 Super.

I have almost completed the work on this pistol.
I personally replaced all the internal parts (Hammer, Sear, Interrupter, Slide and Mag Release, Trigger, springs, etc, etc) with Ed Brown parts. A Cylinder & Slide Mainspring housing, replaced the factory PLASTIC one, and an STI brand Titanium hammer strut and trigger leaf spring, and a ? brand Ambi-Safety. Ahrends wood stock panels, were also fitted. The only remaining Kimber parts are the Frame, Slide, Sights and Barrel and Barrel Bush!
It now has a creep free and entirely safe, 2 1/2 pound trigger pull and will put 10 x of my handloads (124grn Hornady HAP's, @ 1300fps) into 2 1/2" at 50 meters (NOT Me, in a Ransom Rest). I'm still working on polishing the slide flats and some other bits...............
FYI, I use this pistol and load, for competing in IPSC matches.

Doh!

G'Day Fella's,

Here are a couple of images of my Kimber 82, in .22LR.
It has had the original barrel replaced with a Shilen S/Match, and shoots like stink (eg; better than I can)!

Kimber Love in 204 Ruger

Most of my rifle shooting is at our Oregon ground squirrels and rock chucks. I've got a safe full of varmint rifles in all flavors, but one that I really like is my Kimber 84M in 204 Ruger.....handles excellent in the hands or off the bench, is wicked accurate and looks good to boot.

Shooting my handloads, it easily prints groups in the sub half MOA range (32gr Nosler BT over RL-10X), and has accounted for countless Oregon rodents in the time I've had her.

Scoped with a Leupold VX3 6.5-20X LR 40mm with VHR and M1 elevation turret in Leupold Low rings and mount, I can see virtually all my hits (or misses) through the scope. It's a keeper, but the rats wish it would go away!
