Loading the last round in the mag

I read a lot of complaints about loading the last round or two in a Solo mag.

You have to load the last round vertically before moving it horizontally. You can't rock and slide the round in there like you can a 1911, Glock or 92. You have to fully depress it then slide it under the lip. That's the only secret. If you have weak fingers or a condition that makes pressing down with that much pressure painful, you need the Uplula tool, no other way around it. But I can assure you all mags take a full load of rounds.

Once loaded, regardless of number of rounds, you have to make sure that 1st round is nose up as in fully contacting the lips on top of the mag throat. I generally tap a loaded mag on it's back on a wooden table to make sure they are all seated as far rearward as possible.

Load them up and let them sit for a while..relieve the pressure. I do my mags all the time when I am bored. Old military thing...we used to never load the last round in an M-16 clip.
Retired and loving it.
