Find a unsuspecting LGS.

A suspecting LGS, likely want buy a Solo. If one does, breathe deeply.

If you have a problem with that, choose a orifice.
End of subject.

That is a terrible outcome after giving Kimber the chance to make it right and you should be upset with the situation, absolutely unacceptable. I hope you are honest with whomever you sell your solo to at this point even though it will cause you a financial loss, its right thing to do. Maybe the LGS where you bought it would work something out in terms of a healthy discount on another gun from them given the trouble you have had.

As I mentioned in another thread, I have now had to send in 3 of 4 of my latest gun purchases since they didn't work right new out of box (kimber, sig, henry) it is frustrating. I boxed up my Henry 45-70 today which had the feed tube come loose after 2 rounds and I have to pay to ship it to them.

I hope you find yourself with a great small carry gun that shoots straight, goes off every time, and gives you the supreme confidence to carry it in protection of your family and yourself.

I just don't understand what makes one Solo function poorly and another function as it should.
Mine has been flawless so far but obviously yours has not.
Rather than sell a non-functioning gun to someone, I would send it back to Kimber explaining that after them working on it the gun is worse than before and you would like a refund under the warranty coverage as the gun clearly is defective.

Sorry to hear that door kicker. I was hoping they would make it right for you. But please keep in mind that Just because you have an issue with yours doesn't mean others are lying about the performance of theirs. Take care.

Absolutely!!! Cuca can help shed light on how to go about that. He said he got a credit towards a different model.

Doing research on about everything, there are always wide ranging opinions, from it completes me, to I hate this stinking thing. When >95% are happy, it's a buy no matter how much the <5% hate the thing. Same thing when only <5% are happy and >95% wish they could waterboard it to death.

Why anybody would by a Solo, considering the nearly unanimous hatred for this pistol, amazes me.

I have the attitude of you make your own opinion and I will make my own. I read the reviews and have friends and family who own both troubled and trouble free solos. I still ended up buying a solo. I fortunately have had no issues. One may say I am crazy or stupid others will say good choice. Either way, I do what I do and always will. I base my opinions on my own real life experiences. Not what I read or what others tell me to do or not do.
