That is a terrible outcome after giving Kimber the chance to make it right and you should be upset with the situation, absolutely unacceptable. I hope you are honest with whomever you sell your solo to at this point even though it will cause you a financial loss, its right thing to do. Maybe the LGS where you bought it would work something out in terms of a healthy discount on another gun from them given the trouble you have had.
As I mentioned in another thread, I have now had to send in 3 of 4 of my latest gun purchases since they didn't work right new out of box (kimber, sig, henry) it is frustrating. I boxed up my Henry 45-70 today which had the feed tube come loose after 2 rounds and I have to pay to ship it to them.
I hope you find yourself with a great small carry gun that shoots straight, goes off every time, and gives you the supreme confidence to carry it in protection of your family and yourself.
