Serial # on Solo

I asked in an earlier post about when my Solo was manufactured. It was suggested I contact Kimber Customer Service which I will do onMonday. But I have ants in my pants and wonder if being that my serial # begins with S1147XXX does anyone have an idea of date of manufacture? Thanks in advance.

So far loving this forum.

I went and looked at my receipts and the first one was bought in 2013 {S1134742} and the second one that I bought from a KT member was bought in 2012 {S1104752}..

Looking at your number it looks to be in line with those years...2012-2013...

No problem....Once they were both Yonkered they both ran perfect....In fact they both would shoot 115-147gr without any issues at all...

Contacted Kimber Customer Service. Spoke to Jay. He could not have been more helpful and was in no hurry to get me off the phone. Actually reassured me that if I had any issues to contact him even though I purchased it used and it would be taken care of. Ordered a mag and must comment and say, very reasonable price for a quality arm such as Kimber. Have not yet had a chance to run through a few rounds. Looking forward to it.

Manufactured in Feb. of 2014.
