If you have a problem with that, choose a orifice.

He started off incorrectly quoting "only 147 grain" ammunition.

Here's what Kimber actually posts on its website, to which the manual refers for the information:

USE ONLY RECOMMENDED AMMUNITION
Solo is designed to function optimally using premium hollow-point self-defense factory ammunition with bullet weights of 124 or 147 grains.

EXAMPLES INCLUDE:

• Federal® Hydra-Shok® JHP
• Remington® Golden Saber™ HPJ
• Hornady TAP® JHP

While other ammunition may perform well, lighter bullets and inconsistent pressures that can be found in lower-quality ammunition may lead to decreased slide cycle time and compromise function.
Thar's what I remember seeing on the site ever since I purchased mine in 2013, about or before the haphazard video.

Mine had teething problems. Kimber solved them. Since that time the pistol has been unfailingly reliable, uncannily accurate, and eager to deliver shot after shot. I use 124 gr Federal or Lawman. Many others have had the "cure".

Throw buck? Well there were the bad old days but the Solo is a fine pistol and Kimber stands behind it. I'll focus on that.

I misspelled 'back' in thread title.
'Kimber Throw back' might refer to today's Solo issues as...'Throw Solo back to Yonkers'. Based 'only' on KT forum ownership issues.
