1. 12/5; got solo S11604xx, dob10/14/14, been at academy store on a shelf for long time, reduced to $607. at range shot 40ppu 158 grain, 30win nato 124grain, 30rem 147grain. no problems at all. nato was by far the hottest- not pleasant. shot 158 grain ppu a slow recoil.
I did my due diligence. I knew the supposed problems from utube, other forums, etc.

2. 12/7; shot 200 rounds, ~ 15 ( fail to chamber, fail to eject, one empty case was competely reversed! ), used same 3 brands as before :: a bad day at the range.
3. 12/10; shot ~ 145, many ftc, fte, but 24 remington golden sabre 147gr were flawless as was 24 Hornady 135gr critical duty.
Measured overall cartridge length of 6 brands, remington and Hornady were the longest.
Ruins theory that overall cartridge length affects timeing,
i.e., the shorter overall cartridge length of the spring pressured rising live round -
would then have less influence over the ejecting spent case -
thus the subsequent pileup of the empty case and the ready to be inserted live round would not ocurr.
