Surprise guest during K6s range, Solo DC

I confessed secretly to a member on here how much I missed my Solo. I traded it in favor of a Micro 9 as I am a huge 1911 guy. Well, I missed my Solo more and more. I could not handle it anymore. I bid on and won a Solo DC on GB at a MORE than reasonable price. In fact, I worried it was not actually a DC. It came today and it is a DC for less than $600.

I went to the range with my K6s after I thoroughly cleaned the DC and loaded my bag with Federal 124 HST, 147 Speer FMJ, and what I thought was 124 Nato.

I had 4 Solo mags already so I was ready to go.

I shot 26 rounds of Federal 124 HST to start. Nary a single problem. I then shot 34 rounds of 147 Speer FMJ, and again, nary a problem. I then decided to shoot 5 mags of five 124 HST's again. Zero issues. At this point I checked the grip screws and then shot 5 mags of 147 Speer again. Again I had ZERO issues. I still had a box of 124 Nato, or so I thought. I grabbed the box and noticed I had written on the box, 115 WWB. I bought three 100 rd boxes from Cabelas when they had them on sale so cheap and stuffed them into empty 124 boxes. Hell, I felt good, I loaded two mags of 115 gr WWB, and each fired and departed without issue! I sure am excited about getting another Solo!

Would have taken pics of targets, but centers of 8 inch targets too shredded to recognize would not interest anyone LOL

Love my DC and also believe it is the best " deep cover" gun out there.

Ok, I shot 60 rounds through the Solo today and had zero problems. I shot 30 Speer 147 fmj, 10 Federal 124 HST, and 20 Federal 150 HST Micro. While the gun is fun to shoot and get broken in, it sure does get punishing!

Marshall, somebody listened, I was going to install my "O" rings on this Solo and I discovered today, they are ALREADY equipped with the rubber bushings. Wow. Also Marshall, I shot 20 of the 150 Federal HST, and there is hardly any recoil! The gun functioned great with these. I will go to the 150's using this gun as the recoil is barely noticeable.
