Constant issues with Solo

I'm not sure what to do with this gun. I bought it as my every day carry and I have no faith in it. I bought it almost 2 years ago. I already sent it back to Kimber once because it was having failure to eject and failure to feed issues. They seemed to fix the issue but I wasn't going to start carrying it until I went through at least a few hundred rounds without any issues since i would need this thing to be flawless in case it was ever needed to save my life. started to jam on me again. I've only been running the recommended self defense ammo through it. At this point how do I ever have faith in this gun? I feel like I bought a $700 paper weight. I have a micro .380 and a ultra carry raptor. Both of these guns are flawless. The solo on the other hand is junk. If this was a low end - low cost gun than I would kind of expect this but this is supposed to be a higher end gun.

Frustrated is an understatement!!

More trips to the mothership. Either they make it work or give you the option to swap for something else. My friend ended up getting a Ultra carry instead they never could get his to function reliable after 3 trips.

Send it back again and again until it runs perfect.
It can and will. As long as KIMBER is footing the bill and they will.

One the third time back to the factory, they "accidentally" broke mine, and offered a credit on another gun.

This whole experience kinda has me pissed. They recommended Hydra Shok ammo so I've been running that for the past few hundred rounds. Before I sent it in the first time I had a mix of average rounds and premium that I put thru it. I bet I wasted more money on ammo for this gun than the cost of the gun itself.

I will give it to Kimber that they do have excellent customer service, but that doesn't make the situation any less frustrating. We'll see what they say when I call them tomorrow and I'll keep this thread updated

I know, right?
The man is as patient as Jesus, as tolerant as Ghandi. Alas, if he had only been as wise as Buddha, he would have just bought himself a CDP.

I'm typically not that patient of a person, but since I have two other kimber's that operate flawlessly I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. This gun definitely isn't meant for the range so if I can't trust it to carry it then it literally serves no purpose.
