Barrel innovation or copy?

I remember reading talk about the barrels Kimber was using in their Solos, Well are we to assume it was an innovation or was Kimber copying Ruger LCP? Soloist set me straight!

the LCP2 barrel is the same design or very close to the previous LCP which predates the Solo by several years. Ruger pretty much copied the Kel-Tec design, and who knows who they took it from. The only innovation I know of worth mentioning in the Solo, is the 3/4 cocking, not sure if or where that was done before.
Rangemeister and phil evans like this.
