Another good range trip!

Good weather allowed me to get out and shoot today. I took my Solo DC and my Sig 320 Compact. Great day!

The Solo performed as usual, I shot a total of 40 rds today using 5 mags, two of which were extended mags. I shot 28 Nato Win 124 gr, 6 115 Federal aluminum (wally world specials) and finished off with 6 DRT, 85 grain JHP. Zero malfunctions and pretty accurate. I'd say I would have done a little better had I not just shot 70 rds with my Sig 320 Compact. Target is at 21 feet.

So my question is, those of you that have hit the 1,000 rd mark, did you change the recoil assembly out?

Of course I shot some 70rds through my Sig Sauer 9mm 320 Compact. I have had several striker fired pistols in the past and could not shoot them well at all. This gun changes all of that. It is a very fine pistol that I shoot very well. I have a 30 foot target that has a group of about two and 1/2 inches. It is really a great gun. Those of you thinking of getting a high capacity striker fired gun, these are very nice. Lots of good reports on YouTube. The 70 rds were a mismash of 115 Federal Alum, Nato 124, and Federal 124 HST.

Oh what the heck......Sig pic posted

Nice report and shooting Rangemeister !!

I'm not close to 1000 yet on my CDP Solo. Not sure how many rounds were shot in the used Solo Carry I bought but am figuring around 250ish. I have a complete recoil assembly ready to go, and also a set of just the springs. Figure the Solo Carry will be the first one needing a refresh.

Great shooting and terrific report. Don't have a Solo but I did change my spring in my CDP 380 after about 1500 rounds. It was getting too easy to clean and had a couple of FTEs.

I am pretty sure that your recoil unit will work properly up to 1300-1500 rounds.

Hey, nice range report Meister! Glad to see you on here and that your Solo is still performing well. I had my M380 out yesterday and it performed pretty well too, only 1 FTL which is a big improvement.
