I guess I missed the question:

"Do we really need another striker-fired DA auto?"

As a diehard lifelong 1911 user, I seriously doubt you'll ever see one of these in my safe.

Yup, know what you mean...my safe is huge and about as diverse as you could imagine (even revolvers! ), but the only striker-fired (no DA) pistol in there is my G43, and the only reason it's in there is because one of my sons works for...ugh.....G...G...Glo......ah hell, you know who.



Striker-fired and/or polymer......not so much. I like the feel of metal in my hand and the ability to SEE the hammer.....but that's just me. And ......I don't have to hide any of my 1911's from my hound dogs!
