To those who have a perfectly functioning Solo I say I'm happy for you and I am jealous. But the three I had were not up to par just like hundreds of other Solo owners. If yours works good for thousands of rounds and you trusted it to defend yourself with I just want to leave you with this last thought.
You've got a good one no doubt however it shares the same DNA as all the pieces of crap that Kimber could not fix and sent to the trash heap.
Even if the Soloist gave me his fine specimen I would still carry a back up. One of the two Micros or maybe even one of Chicos polished blades.

I have one of the flawless function ones and don’t carry it. I admit I did for a little while but Switched to a micro 9. Not because of fear but because I want to preserve it for one day as a piece for the Smithsonian lol just kidding. I like the micro 9 better

I have three, my oldest one gave me a problem and I fixed it with a new firing pin and spring. But to be honest I have not carried them in about a year and a half. Ive been carrying a sig p365, Over a 1000 trouble free rounds and holds 12 plus 1. Plus it only 500 dollars and conceals easily. I didnt forget about Kimbers, I still have my micros, solos, and 1911s and take them to the range. Sometimes change is good.

Felt wheel? I thought I was supposed to use Flitz with the Dremel stone wheel. I'm pretty sure that's what TX PMed me.
