Recoil Springs

In with todays mail I received a set up springs that I ordered a couple of months ago. Last Wednesday my replacement Solo came. I guess that is a prod to go to the range next week. I think the recoil springs will accumulate some dust sitting in my safe since I have a new Solo. But good to have on hand. I think these were ordered sometime in April......

Kimber did give me the opportunity to choose anything in there line up, at retail, giving me a credit of $1250.00 for the old Solo. Since I have a couple of there 1911's in .45. 14 magazines and 5 different holsters for the Solo. I chose to go back with the Solo. If this one gives me problems like the last one, I now have Kimber's customer service on speed dial on my phone. It will not become a carry piece till it burns 500 rounds without any hiccups.

That was very generous of them to offer you that much for a solo. I think I would have taken them up on that offer. Lol but I understand why you didn't, I hope you like your new one.

We are behind you all the way and hope this second new Solo works perfectly for you.

Good for you giving it another chance, I don't think I could have done that.

They weren't going to give me cash back just an exchange of retail for retail. Anything valued more I would have had to pay the difference. Anything less would have been a loss to me.....

I took a couple of days to think on it. I thought of Getting an Aegis II Ultra in 9 mm. That would have cost me a hundred and change. Then I thought about all the magazines, and holsters that I have for the Solo. Plus what I would spend on extras for the Aegis, and I have a CDP Ultra II in.45 almost the same gun (it's back in Yonkers also) so I decided to stay with the Solo. As I have stated above, I have Kimber on my speed dial
