solo update

Sent my new solo to Kimber early spring. Jamming constantly.
They sent it back within a few weeks. Repaired and sent to test fire, re repaired and tested ok. Unfortunately I had sold my house and moving.
Over the summer finally got a chance to shoot that little ogre.
Not a single problem with 124 gr and the last two times out shot 115 reloads because forgot the 124 ammo.
No jamming even with the 115.
Only a hundred rounds or so down the tube, not ready to carry yet, but trust is building.
Thanks Kimber for making it right.

Respectfully, I'm not sure I've ever read where this many handgun owners are thrilled when their $600+ gun comes back from being repaired and now functions as it should have functioned right out of the box.
Sorry, I just don't get it.

You have every right to expect a product to work correctly when you purchase it. Sometimes that doesn't happen and how a company handles the problem says a lot about them. There's nothing wrong with being upset when something doesn't work right and it's OK to be happy when they do make it right.

Arland, zoomy doesn't drink just plain diet Coke, it's has to be Mc Donalds diet Coke. He says there's a difference.

Based on what I have read here, "sometimes" might be a bit optimistic.
The fact is, Kimber continues to send a product out the door knowing that even when used as directed, it may very well need to come back for repair or replacement. .
*That* says a lot about a company.

I'll bet you can find people that spend $250,000.00 on an entry level Rolls Royce Ghost saying the same thing.
