So it looks like the Solo dreams are finally dead, once and for all.
So now you guys know why I picked up new in package from KT classifieds.

Some lucky collector will end up with my Solo one day.

Bosco... what dreams are made of.

Rosewood laser grips. New in package recoil spring assembly. Three 6rd and one 7rd mag. Returned from Kimber. 50rds 124gr HST flawless. Cleaned and put up since (other than for picture posing of course).

Oooooooooooh... ahhhhhhhh...

My Solo STS has run very well. As long as I shoot the correct ammo, it runs flawlessly.
I was amazed at how accurate it was.

Was the STS (Special Test Solo) the model with all the new Gen 2 upgrades that so many were discussing before Kimber flushed the Solo from their lineup?

My Solo Carry is the same way. Using the correct ammo and NO limp wristing. Proper grip too. I ran a whole box of Speer Lawman today. 147 grain. Flawless.

I also own a Micro 380 ACP

There has always been 2 kinds of people... Those that know how to run a gun, and those that complain about it when their failures as a person cause failures.

I often wonder if the failures on here do so, to attempt to drive the market down so they can buy up all the Solos for cheap someday?

After handling the P365 and Hellcat, I can say the Solo is still the Ferrari to their tactical tupperware. They win in the capacity department, but that's all. In every other category the Solo trumps them.

Well, the dream isn't quite dead yet.

On a lark I went on eBay and spotted a cache of NIB Kimber Solo recoil spring assemblies. Grabbed the last two.

So maybe, just maybe, there WILL be another Solo in my future.

LGS here in town has a few of them still and won't come off the price, he wants full retail! I guess he will own them forever.
