Talking Happy New Solo DC owner !!

Well, I discounted the mixed reviews, and got a Solo DC. Went and bought some 124gr Blazer Brass to try her out. Once I went through those, I figured "what the heck" and tried 115gr Remington. All told, over 200 rounds through it, and ONE stovepipe (with the Blazer at almost 100 rds). I've been shooting my Kahr PM9 for a few years, and expected it to be similar. The trigger is SO much shorter, it makes for better accuracy when shooting rapidly. After 200+ rounds however, my trigger finger got a little sore, so I called it a day (recoil is distinctly more than the PM9, but totally manageable)......actually, I'd call it a REAL GOOD day !!

That was 48 rounds at 8 yds. I need to buy some more magazines. I did get a sore finger.....was reading about the RTK contour trigger.....maybe that will be a cure for that.....but for now, a very happy new owner. (I think I'll hold off on my plans to buy a case of 147gr ammo.....mine seems to like the Remington 115gr ball just fine.....and I have lots of that.

Glad to hear your Solo has performed admirably. I highly recommend the RTK trigger. Be aware that if you put one in and then have to send your Solo in for warranty work, you'll need to remove it and replace the original. Otherwise, they won't warrant the work.

Best,
