New Solo: FTD (failure to dissapoint)

Greetings from one of your newest members and Kimber's newest owner.

Took my new DC (LG) to the range today with a supply of Hornady Critical Duty 135gn, Federal 124gn and 135gn Hydra-Shok, Remington HTP 147gn, Winchester T 147gn and Winchester 9mm NATO 124gn. Ran at least 10 rounds of each with absolutely no problems.

I saw the reports here of multiple problems and decided that:

(1) I wasn't going to run cheap ammo through a $1000 gun anyway so #1 big problem alleviated.

(2) I'm a fan of heavier bullets anyhow so, #2 problem, no problem.

I'm glad I forged ahead with the purchase because this really is one sweet shootin pistol! Maybe I'm lucky and more recent manufacture is better or maybe adhering to the Kimber manual, especially sections outlined in red, was to secret to my success but at any rate, there was no failure to disappoint by my new Solo at the range today.
