Question Crimson trace after the fact.....

Has anyone bought the Crimson trace grips and installed them after the fact? If so:
1. Are they nice and bright?
2. Worth the cost?
3. Hard to install?

They're nice and bright (I purchased the green laser).
Worth the cost? Depends on how you value what you can't now buy or do because you spent your money on the laser.
Hard to install? Nope, less than 2 min, easy as pie.

Ha ha, well I guess what I meant was "is it a nice quality product or an expensive piece of trash lol".....

it is a fine quality laser. Simple to install and simple to adjust. I recommend the green laser, it is easier to pick up in brighter daylight. Both red and green lasers work equally well at night or in low light situations. CT laser grips are as good or equal to any you can buy. Good luck in your decision.

1. Yes, one Red and one Green. Green is brighter!
2. Yes, found both on ebay less than msrp.
3. No, if you can change grips you will have no problem.

Highly recommend Green more than Red. IMO

I have Crimson Trace laser grips on several of my guns, they all work great and were worth the money spent for them, 7 laser grips, 5 laser guards, so you can see I'm a fan, all were easy to install, and very accurate, most come preset, and if you make sure to install them properly as well as tighten them, but not over tighten, they are good right away with no adjustment..these from Master series for 1911's to wrap arounds to rubber grips for revolvers, the laser guards are also excellent...my latest is a green laser for my Glock 43...

I've purchased 6 of them only sent one back for being dimmer than the others and CTC sent me a new one. The cool thing is I bought it from Kimber for my Solo and Crimson trace replaced it no questions asked.

planet optics has CT grips (Black) for the SOLO on sale right now. Just ordered a set for $209 shipped

Wish I could have found the cherry CT grips but had to settle for black

I really really wish I had confidence in my SOLO and didnt have so many problems with it...
