To Hot to Carry.....

Man, it's getting to hot to carry my Ultra .45. Switched over to (please forgive me) to a Sig P290RS. When it cools down a bit, back to the .45.

I know what you mean. I normally carry my Custom II, but for these super hot days, I ordered a Galco ankle rig for my Ruger LCR.

Meh, I guess it depends on what you get accustom to. That is why they put sweat shields on holsters. I carry OWB, so it really doesn't matter which gun I choose.

I agree with Gary, I carry an Ultra or Pro in an OWB and most times don't even know it's there.

Ankle holster on a hot day?
I thought they were for cold days.
Is this you?

My little Bodyguard fits anywhere on the warm days of summer.

LOL! No shorts for me, thank you very much. Out of respect and concern for the general public's well-being, I have to spare everyone from having to see MY legs!

I have an Alien Gear 3.0, with sweat shield, for IWB carry, and a Ross Leather OWB holster, also with a sweat shield. My problem is trying to conceal either one in hot weather clothing. I have a relatively small frame, so unless I have a coat or light jacket on, it's hard to conceal my full-size Kimber. The Alien Gear works the best, if I carry it in the 5 o'clock position.

Not sure where you live, WE, but here in Georgia it is legal to open carry, so concealment is mostly for the carrier, not the others. I sometimes wear a loose T-shirt and shorts while carrying. If I print, I print. Doesn't matter to me.
