Post Kimber Customer Service

After considering my local smith, Wilson Combat (who does not work on Kimber 3" guns) I decided to call Kimber to let them know of brass to the face issues--Eclipse Ultra II
Spoke to Alan, very nice, attentive and considerate. He was truely concerned of this and certainly considered it a safety issue and "will take care of it". They are even paying for the shipping after all the years I've owned it.
So far, so good and I'm impressed.

Now that is good news. Glad to hear Kimber is going to fix your issue. Don't forget to report back on the out come.

Kimbers customer service is one of the best in the industry. I've heard of cases where they've covered repairs on a gun for a second owner that wasn't expecting or asking for it.

They got my Ultra yesterday so the countdown begins.
I don't care how long they have it, but it may interest others so there you go.

I sent a cdp ultra 9mm in a few years ago. They were great. Paid for shipping, thoroughly cleaned the gun, and were very courteous and accomodating. But ( of course there's a "but" ) they kept my baby for over 5 weeks. I guess they were backed up.

They (UPS) tried to deliver the weapon last night to my home. So that was exactly 2 weeks. I had it rerouted to deliver to my business so I should have it tomorrow. And what do you know, I had range plans for Saturday.

Thanks! I'm interested what they did to it. Could help others here as well.
