Sig P238 $1400.00

I figured the title might get your attention. Just saw a listing on Cal. Guns (classifieds for California) for a Sig Sauer P238 Equinox for $1400.00. I have a hard time with these gun owners trying to take advantage of other gun owners because of the gun laws here in California. Just because a gun is not on the Cal. DOJ list does not mean it is now worth $800.00 dollars above value. I wonder about those people that don't know any better and pay the ransom!

Sport/Marshall....I don't post personal gun pictures on KT or any site, for any reason. Never have/never will. Taking IP risk is for those that choose to do so, I don't.

If you have a problem with that, choose a orifice.
End of subject.

Free enterprise, supply and demand. If that one sells the next one be even higher.

Sig P238 $1400.00

How bad you want it? Humm? Almost like an over priced Kimber Revolver.

Oh, I like the P238, I own one.

I'd pay a bit more for their "Molon Labe" version, but not that much...

You can now order any off roster guns in California as long as it has a 10 round magazine from offrosterguns.com. The way they are getting around the law is they are selling guns on Indian reservations . New gun stores are opening in Southern Cal and Northern Cal .

I agree with you. During last couple scares I heard folks at work whining about prices now that they that thought to get an AR before they were banned. I thought Hey if you did t by tickets to the game early you have to deal with scalpers. Whose fault is it? I understand the CA restriction thing but....they have lower prices guns and less liberal weirdos in other states.

That SOUNDS like a great idea. Their web page says they will be up and running by June, but they still don't appear to be operational midway through August. They don't say where in California they'll open shop--across town or 800 miles away. If you want a gun, you email them the info on what you want, then make a PayPal donation, and then you're put on a list. Maybe they're legit, but their business plan sounds a little too sketchy for me to risk my hard earned cash and my freedom in the off chance that I could buy a gun that I don't really need anyway. For now, I'm going to sit back and see how this plays out.

I am going to see how the off roster guns plays out also . I did call the owner of Guncrafter Industries to see if this is legit ? He said it was, and he plans to start selling their 1911s in CA. soon . We will see?
