Is Plan B Back On The Burner?

A quick recap for those that don't know or remember about my projects, Plan A and Plan B. Plan B is a Kimber Custom Two Tone II converted to .460 Rowland (think .44 mag in a 1911). I start these projects then put them on a back burner and tend to forget about them. Any way I just got a call from a shooting buddy that has a friend needing cash and is parting out 2 AR's and all the accessories he has for them. He knows I've been looking to put a red dot on my .460 Rowland so he offered the guy $100.00 for his red dot on my behalf. I have no idea of what it is and neither does he, he reminds me a lot of Captain Skyy, only he drinks scotch. I've asked him twice to find out what it is and he keeps saying he doesn't know but not worry about it. I'm hoping to find out more tomorrow if either one of us remember even talking to each other.

I've called my friend 3 times today and finally got a hold of him. He assured me that the red dot was mine but he still had no idea of what it was. What's wrong with this picture?

When I had my Beretta cerakoted, I asked the guy to mast off the safety red dot indicator. He said he'd just put a new one in. ?????

I hope that's not what you are buying....

Maybe it just not meant to be, in which case, you may have gotten lucky. Sometimes, not always, the friend of a friend deals may not always be in your best interest. Just sayin

This guy is a long time close friend that I trust, he has an extensive gun collection and knows his stuff. I called his house this morning and his wife said he's working as an election judge today and has been preoccupied with it.
