Thumbs up New Universal Carry Clip Holster Alternative

Makes carrying a steel 1911 in gym shorts at the beach or semi physical activities no problem

Now that's just crazy/different....Did you invent that or just selling them ??

I have tried putting my UC Raptor 45 in one of the lightest holsters made, fully loaded and wearing gym shorts once and I didn't make it out the front door before realizing that wasn't going to happen..

When you remove the adhesive from a weapon like the blued UC Raptor did it leave any residue or take off any of the KimPro finish ??

Absolutely will not harm the wimpy kimber finish (look at it wrong and it scratches it feels like)
This adhesive is a genuine state of the art aerospace material that's the newest on the market.

I tie the cord in my gym shorts tight but comfortable so my belt line doesn't sag 3inches like you would think, then the beauty of how this mounts controls the "cant" as well as depth and you can obviously adjust positions on the fly which you can't do w a holster system. This isn't just for us appendix/front the hip carriers. Works all around the "clock"

45oz loaded of 1911 is no problem. Haven't tried it but if your gonna carry a Desert Eagle iwb this would be a great system to keep it as sleek as possible

Couldn't do it. I'm fairly obsessive about trigger protection when I carry, especially on a DA with no safety.

I'm sorry but I must keep it real...I would never put that ugly clip on any of my pistols. I don't care how well it "works."

I have to agree with the others, the trigger isn't covered so I don't consider that a safe way to carry a gun.

They been around awhile. As well as safety, I'm not liking the fact of having a weapon pressed up possibly against my skin for any amount of time. I have proven that my skin can give off corrosion qualities, (salt). I have actually had stainless steel watch finishes ruined when I use to work in hot climates. Not to mention having any residue from the gun seep into your skin.

No Offense, I like the ClipDraw better because it installs under the grip, no glue and really secure on the gun.....I put one on my Colt Defender and the gun is kept in my glove box. It's real handy to be able to throw it inside my waist band when wearing a pair of jeans if I feel the need. I don't worry about the lack of trigger guard since the trigger is covered by my pants and the safety is very positive and has never disengaged. Plus, it's not like I'm wearing it all day, it's just if I'm existing the car and want to have it with me when I'm not carry my EDC, which is rare.
