New Custom II

I picked up a new black Custom II this morning. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it, but I'll add an ambi safety and new grips and I'm thinking of getting the slide coated.

Maybe I'll put the ivory grips on this one.

I'm jealous. I haven't purchased a new gun in months. Jeffs have all the fun.
Chuck43 and Marshall like this.

It's a nice gun, it was one of my first Kimbers, it should look great with a set of ivory grips.

I think I'll put a stainless MSH, ambi safety, and slide stop. Dress it up a bit. Maybe a stainless bushing too.

That would really turn it into a looker, time to get online and start ordering parts.

I'm way ahead of you. I already got the Midway email "It's on the truck!"

I'm thinking some new grips too. I'd like to find some Desert Ironwood or Spalted Maple.
