Filling out my CCP forms

So tonight I was filling out the required forms for my CCP. I came to a question that asked "Are you a fugitive from justice" !!!! I just started laughing. I'm going to ask them on Friday if anyone has EVER said yes.

"Why yes officer, I am a fugitive. Is that a problem ? "

It's no different from the ATF form #4473 that is used when you buy a gun...

Look at section D....

In fact look at many of the questions. Who would answer yes to questions B, E and F ??....

No one. So when they catch a felon with a fire arm and find out they lied one the form, they now have another charge against them.

You would think, but the last two presidents had an awful record when it came to prosecuting those who lied on the 4473 form...

Goodlatte says U.S. prosecutions for lying on gun background checks are down 40 percent under Obama | PolitiFact Virginia

In other words, if there is no fear of being charged for the crime of lying on the background check which could be a 10 year sentence, then some will lie their ass off to get a gun...

Hopefully things will change with our new justice department and commander-in-chief.
