Thumbs down Kimber Customer Service Sucks!

Have been trying to get thru to Kimber customer service for 3 days now and all I can get is ''Call volume is too heavy for us to answer the phone''! First and last Kimber product I'll ever buy.

I called today and the wait was 13 minutes.

I called last week and it was 38 minutes..

Just have to be patient since their call center is understaffed and the new models are out and everyone wants to know when they will be arriving at the LGS...

That's not bad. Before Thanksgiving and Christmas, I waited an hour and five min, 1 hour. Then a week after that it was down to 40 min.

I was so disgusted I threw all my Kimber's in the lake. Will never buy another Kimber product.

Since we're talking Kimber's CS...
I ordered a couple of their speedloaders for my K6s six days ago, I just logged into their site to check my order status figuring I'd see a tracking number or shipped date and nothing.
Since I can't email them I'll have to call them, which only adds to their call volume.
Five Star had the loaders in stock. I could have bought them from them. I really didn't need the cursive K.

I've always liked Kimber products, but they really need to update their method of operation. Have a few more things solvable online, add some more office personnel, someone to just handle repairs for a faster turnaround time. Good CS is where it's at these days.

I would not want to be in a customer service position in this day and age. It's sad to see So many people have an expectation of immediate gratification that must also meet a specific level of absolute perfection or they get hurt feelings and lash out.

Members that have a KCS issue should post email communication with KCS when a specific issue warrants a new thread. A KSC bitch thread corrects nothing and indicates members personal issues.
