New shop

I found a new shop today. New to me anyway. Went in to see what they had. Wow, what a candy store. Just in .45 they had 7 Kimbers, 9 Colts, 6 Sigs, 3 Glocks and two other lower price brands.
I think I'll be stopping in, to check the inventory, on a regular basis.

I wish we had LGS with inventory like that.

Me too! The closest is over 60 miles away with that kind of inventory.

I pass up a Gander Mountain with tons of inventory to go to Denny Dennis here in Fenton to see that kind of inventory..
His store hasn't changed a bit since the 50's and has everything a shooter/hunter could ever want..
He is a bit higher on prices but they make up for it on customer service..

My LGS has pretty much every model Kimber makes in stock as well as full lines from most major manufactures. There's another huge local retailer about an hour away.

I feel pretty lucky as I have no less than 8 gun stores including a Bass Pro with in 20 miles of home.

Happily Phoenix has plenty of gun stores and gunsmiths but ammo is still in short supply. Happily mail order ammo is plentiful for now.

I forgot to mention this is a "hole in the wall" store in a tiny little hamlet, (about 60 buildings total). The store is probably 20 by 40 with half of it dedicated to off shore fishing.
And I forgot to mention he had a Les Baer on the self too. Said they have been in that location for 8 months. I just noticed it the other day. That was because he had a sign out front saying he had ammo. (Didn't have any 185 grain anything)
