Master Carry?

What is the color of the Crimson Trace laser grip on the Master Carry models?
I think they are "RED". I didn't see where it stated a color online. I like the MC Pro.
I know they have a GREEN one and that's what I want because I can see it better.

The Crimson Trace laser grip on the Master Carry series is black/gray and the last time I checked with Crimson Trace the black/gray round heel laser grip is made exclusively for Kimber.

I originally wanted a Master Carry Pro but they weren't in production yet so I got the idea of buying a Super Carry Pro and putting a Crimson Trace grip on it. That's when I called CT and found out they only make the black/gray grip for Kimber. It was a year later when I got another gun (1911 SIG C3) with a laser on it that I found out I didn't like lasers and couldn't hit spit with them.

I misunderstood the question I thought Arland was asking about the color of the grips not the laser beam.

No worries! I use the laser on the CDP sometimes at the range but I don't count on it. I may start shooting more practice rounds with it on.
I had just noticed my old eyes can see the "green" better.

Just looked in the Kimber catalog again and saw this statement. "Crimson Carry pistols featuring Crimson Trace Lasergrips with a green beam are now available."

I had a Crimson Trace Laser grip installed on the Kimber Stainless Custom II that I had. The shop owner installed it and sighted it in for me when I bought it. It was dead on out to 25 yards. Where the red dot was, that is where the bullet hit, every time. I enjoyed using it at the range and antagonizing squirrels during slow periods while deer hunting. However, I never trusted to use it for self defense. I knew it was there, but I normally never had it turned on while carrying the pistol.

When I decided that I wanted to go shorter and lighter with my 1911, I traded in the Stainless Custom II in on a Pro Carry II. I did not transfer the laser to the new pistol. Mostly, I found it to be a $200 toy that I really didn't need. I have installed a set of Trijicon Night Sights on the Pro and that takes care of my low light sighting issues.

BTW, the human eye picks up the green laser beam much better than the red. That is why our military uses green lasers for there laser equipped weapons. In addition, the green really freaks out squirrels when you hit them in the eye with it!!! (I have a green laser on my DPMS Oracle AR-squirrels hate that damn green laser!!) LMAO
