Finally Got my Ultra+CDP To The Range

Hello to All,
I finally got my new Gun to the range today. Had the Range Mater clean and oil it. Then shot 100 rounds. To say it is different from a Glock is an understatement. Its kick is stronger and very different from that of a Glock. But by the time my 100 rounds were shot, I was hitting the Bulls eye of the target better than I had ever done with the Glock 20. The very Range Master who had checked me out for general competence when I first joined the Range, watched me shoot for a while and said that I had come a "long way". I doubt that that was entirely the result of the Kimber as opposed to the Glock. Practice had something to do with it. But The Range Master praised the precision of Kimbers in General. This was not the same Range Master who, weeks earlier, had kind of put down SMALL 1911s.
Overall it was a good day.
Bill

Congratulations on a great range day, watch your grip and the recoil shouldn't be a problem at all.

We're missing another range report, I think.

Come on guys! You don't expect a Range Report from a novice who just got his first date with a 1911 ! Next time, I promise!
