Kimber Rimfire

Someone else may have already pointed this out and maybe I missed it or took a nap or something, IDK.

I just noticed on the Kimber website they are no longer showing complete rimfire pistols. Only a compact and full size conversion kits, and I think only in stainless not blue.

You're right about dropping the Rimfire Super for 2017 but both the Rimfire Target and Rimfire Compact conversion kits are still available in black and silver.

Yeah that's what I mean the "Kits" are still available but you use to could buy a complete pistol in all stainless or all black. I wonder what the MSRP was on the Rimfire Super? Used ones on GB are around $950 with some NIB ones over 1K.

I believe the Rimfire Super MSRP was about $1150.

Don't know when it went up but I saw $1,220 on the Super.

I paid $1020 out the door for mine in march, but I suspect my LGS has had that weapon in inventory for a couple years; I've seen it for a while now.

Honestly never paid that much attention to the Super or Target rimfires or the conversion kits, mostly because I have several other .22 pistols (not 1911 style). I had no idea the Super was bringing over 1k. Hard for me to justify spending that much for a .22 even if it is a Kimber. But it does mean I will keep a sharp eye open for a Super in the LGS and gun shows.
