Kimber Service

I'm new to the Forum. Great source for info.
I recently picked up two Kimbers. Been an admirer for a while. A Ultra Crimson Carry II and a Solo STS. Love the Ultra. Solo consistently jams. I contacted Service to get a RMA. They seemed confused that the Solo was jamming. But that is a discussion for the Solo page.
I called 11 days ago. Was promised an RMA and return label within 24 hours. Four days later I called since I never received one. They had gotten the email address wrong. Simple mistake. Was promised again that I would get the return info. Waited four more days. Called again. They had not corrected email address. Promised again. Called again 2 days later. Promised again.
Still no return info.
Is this normal service from Kimber?
Does anyone know of another way to send this gun back? Or am i just impatient? Or am I stuck with a faulty gun? I love the feel of gun for carry and the two out of 20 mags that didn't jam felt great. Cleaned and oiled per instructions and spent over $300 for the ammo that Kimber recommends. Thanks, Rick

First, welcome to the forum. As Jeff said, not normal CS. Make sure you always get the name of the person you talk to. If you continue to have problems, request to talk to a supervisor.

Welcome to the site from Tennessee! Judging only from posts on this site, NO that is not normal Kimber customer service.
I guess I am lucky? Have not had to call customer service yet.
I am sure they will get it correct.

Read Why is my CDP still jamming on this forum. Go search and enter this title. It is my experience with my Kimber. The bottom line is, you will receive your Kimber back in the best condition imaginable. I am a true believer, after weeks of doubts. Kimber is In the process of moving into a bigger facility these days. It has nothing to do with the RMA problems u are having. Call again, they will take care of u, im certain. I just did this three weeks ago. It is worth fighting for, your Kimber will be as reliable as you expect. Keep me posted. FYI, Robert was my

Welcome to the forum.

My experience with Kimber CS was top notch. CJ is the guy I worked with. Very pleasant and quick to respond. They emailed the UPS shipping label the same day, with other instructions. I dropped my gun off at the UPS office and had it back in 10 days. I was very happy.

Thanks for the words of encouragement!
I am hopeful that I will get the RMA today. If they service it I am confident that it will be fine. This is my wife's new gun and she really likes it. Actually I like it enough to get myself one if the jamming can be resolved. I don't mind the high cost of ammo. This is for carry only and the occasional range use. I have plenty larger pistols but as far as a compact, the Solo is the one! I have gotten the names of the reps. They seem genuinely concerned.
