It Aint Hard At All

Last night I finaly finished my firat "Did It Myself" Breakdown and Reassemble of my Ultra CDP. Now I do not know why I was ever intimidated. There is really only one way to put each part together. But I kept checking to make sure a round had not mysteriously appeared in the barrel. I really, really do not wanna shoot myself.
I will say that I had much trouble with the last piece- The slide lock. That took me about an hour of struggling. Luckily, I used one of those plastic tools-no idiot scratches.

Everything seems harder until you've done it once.

Seems like a personal problem.

Good job Wildbill, I knew you could do it. Glad you didn't let your "range master" help you...he may have shot you.

Guns are complex instruments. But you're right, barring the use of a big hammer, there's pretty much one way to put a firearm back together.

But why is it so difficult to put the stop back. I did not use any too except the idiot scratch tool and the little metal rod. that goes in the hole of the recoil spring.. Perhaps if I used one of those other tools, of which I have two.
