Shopping for new Ultra Grips

I've been shopping for some new grips for my Super Carry Ultra HD for awhile now. Just haven't found exactly what I'm looking for yet.

Found this site recently SGMGrips.com - & was wondering if anyone here has any experience with this company?

Sport/Marshall....I don't post personal gun pictures on KT or any site, for any reason. Never have/never will. Taking IP risk is for those that choose to do so, I don't.

If you have a problem with that, choose a orifice.
End of subject.

If you're interested in different woods and handmade grips checkout The Finer Grain. Ryan has made two sets of grips for me to date, one is the set on my P238 and the other is the Elephant Ivory set for my Super Carry Pro. Don't let all the "sold" signs put you off he only stocks so many grips but he'll make a set of anything you see on his site. In addition to the "normal" and "slim" grips he also makes HANDLER SERIES shaping which moves the apex of the grip radius rear of center line. This results in a broader back surface and thinner front surface making shooting more comfortable, and follow up shots quicker.

Have you bought from SGM grips before? What was your experience with them?

I like VZ grips and have maybe 8 sets. I have always been happy with the grips the price and service. All are Operator II except the Frags on my SC Pro. I find the Frags to be easy against the skin and clothing but a good grip that is better the harder you grip them.

There are so many good grip makers out there I am sure you will find something though the choice is difficult. Once I find what works I stay with it as I like consistency as much as possible gun to gun.

Good luck!

Cool My 2 Cents Worth!!

I shopped around a lot looking for something that just jumped out and grabbed me. I like the VZ grips. Then I started looking at other G-10 grips and located the Hogue G-10's that now hang on my Pro Carry II. They are Hogue's Blue Lava grips. That is what grabbed me. They also come in red and pink!!

I have replaced the stainless grip screws with black and it looks much better, now!!

Here is the link for grips for Ultra sized pistols. Check it out!!
Hogue Inc.
Hope you find some thing that grabs you!!!
