You Have A Dirty Rack?

Sometimes I am a bad, bad boy and don't always clean right after a range trip. Different reasons, to tired, to lazy, some are not that dirty or I plan on firing again soon. Either way once fired I place them in the "Dirty Rack" in the front...you know memory not what it used to be.

No, I clean them when I get back from the range, that's as much fun as getting them dirty.

Whew! After reading the title, I figured someone's wife was going to kick their arse. I would never say that unless I didn't want to live any more.

I'm with you....every time I put the gun away dirty, to clean it "later", it stayed on my mind and bothered me to the point I had to go down stairs and clean it. Dam I hate OCD.

When I was a youngster shooting with my father and or my grandfather we'd always clean the guns right after shooting them. I was taught and allowed to clean the handguns, rifles and shotguns we shot under their supervision. The proudest day of my life was the day we came back from a range session and I was told to clean them up and put them back in the cabinet. Then they turned leaving me alone and went upstairs into the kitchen, it was like I crossed a threshold. Every so often when I sit down to clean a gun I relive that day and it gives me a warm feeling, I guess that's why I'm always so anxious to clean the guns.

I'm sorry, but the title of this thread makes me think that I'm reading a Penthouse Forum letter.....

Same here Chuck. We usually head to the pub after a range session, but the first thing that I do the next morning is to go out to the patio, turn on some tunes and clean my babies up.
