Oh my!

https://www.americanrifleman.org/art...n-1911-pistol/

I almost wouldn't mind one.

The writer obviously, is not a Texan. "Come and Take It" has never been the state (or republic's) motto. It was the motto on the 1835 Gonzales flag. It's a shame they have the grip upside down as well. I should know. I have the Gonzales flag grips on both of my 1911s.

Meh! It would make a nice gift to me from someone, but I wouldn't spend my money on it.

I'm kinda feeling it the same.

For me, I think it's too ornate and I don't care for the grip color.

It just screams "Safe Queen", which I have no need for.

Wink Huh?

Being from beautiful downtown Monroe, Georgia, a Texas Edition 1911 pistol is not high on my must have list!! If I was from the Lone Star State, I'd probably jump all over it.

When is Kimber going to come out with a Georgia Edition 1911 pistol? I could go for that!!

In keeping with the "Oh My!" title, I'm going to do the Jeopardy thing and ask the question:

"What is longhorns, cowboys and guns??"
