ProRaptor 2

I was finaly able to get out and shoot the new Kimber Pro Raptor 2 today. It worked like a champ. I put 3 different types of ammo in it and all worked like I was hoping. I did change the MainSpring housing befor hand to a more agressive look and to a all metal one. I changed it all by my self with a few cuse words it went right back in. Works great. I shall say this it much nicer than the 1911 I had when I was in the USMC (my old rattle trap). I will take this over my Glock 30 anyday.

Thanks for the range report, how about a picture of the Raptor with the new mainspring housing?

Congrats Johnwill. I got mine 3 weeks ago and love it, just hit the 400 round mark with her. It's the best handgun I've ever owned! I was looking at replacing the MSH with an Ed Brown chainlink.

Outstanding Johnwill. The 'old rattle trap' will remain a fond memory. That Raptor should spoil you for many years to come.

Congrats on the Pro Raptor...I love mine! I have over 5000 rounds thru it and it runs like a champ. You may look up the thread about the Wilson Combat Flatwire Spring kit. It's the best upgrade I have done to mine!

I shall post pics soon. this is the one that I got. I bought it on Ebay and it works and looks great. Fit right in even better than the one that came with it. smooth seams.
