.357 not a Kimber

Thought I better start my own thread felt like I was hijacking just a little I try to avoid that.
Tonight when John gets of work I will be transfering this little .357 into my name. Then of course ten days later I can take it home. I have been looking for this particular model for a while.

S&W PD 340 11.8 oz. DAS ss barrel rated for continuous use of +P loads Titanium cylinder sacandium alloy frame green fiber front sight
I think I still want a model 60 prelock 3" or 4" or an original 586 4" inch would also be nice.

I wondered what you was waiting on...suggested retail on the 340PD is a little over 1K.
Nice pick up.

I love these little J-frames. I have a 642 PC Centennial and 649 Bodyguard. They make great EDC for the experienced and are simple to learn for newbies.

Isn't saying a .357 magnum is rated for "+P" kind of redundant?

Did not hesitate long, I had to double check and made sure the model for sale was the model you mentioned at a MSRP of $1019. He had it listed for 600 a couple days before. When he lowered it to 500 I figured I would not find one any lower in that condition. We were not able to complete the paper work last night. Both guys behind the counter were doing transfers and they were going to be tied up until closing. I did examine it, looks to be in perfect condition. We will complete deal on Wednesday when he has more time.

Was able to get the paper work completed today. Now I am looking at grips that support the pinkie. The videos of this model show it to be very snappy with .357 mag loads. I plan on loading just .38 +P loads for defensive purposes. Still snappy but recoil easier to mange. Hogue makes a very comfortable rubber mono grip and there are some pretty wood grips available. Accessorizing is so fun. Oops I think my feminine is showing. That should have said I want to purchase some grips that will help me absorb felt recoil and acquire second shots faster! Oh well I like all my Firearms to look their best that is why I don't buy glocks cost way to much to make them look right.
