What Is This?

I was looking at the new WC flat wire kits and noticed this little "pin." What is it for? What does it do? Where does it go?

I don't remember seeing this in the how to video and don't recall anyone saying anything about a pin.

Arrow pointing to pin.

You don’t need it for anything and I asked the same question when I purchased mine. It can be used like the L-shaped tool from what I remember.

It's a pin they ship with the spring and guide rod kit. There is a hole in the guide rod that you can use to pin the spring and spring plug to the rod if you're not using it in your gun.

Chuck, I kind of thought that might have been the pins purpose but was not 100% certain.

Mini Me, I know right. At least this metal had not made it into the pistol yet.

I kinda thought that is what it might be. But I've never seen this kit and wasn't sure what all came with it. Basically replaces the normally used "paper clip".

Has anyone found a flat wire kit that actually works in the Ultra Crimson Carry II?

To put it plain and simple...."Nope"-----No UCII FW to be found and if it was I'm sure Bill Wilson would have had it by now.
