I know, not a Kimber, sorry...

So I love my Pro Carry, It's my carry gun but... I needed something for humping around the ranch looking for porkers. I'm not taking my beautiful Kimber out there! Used the same rap with my Henry Big Boy and now have a Mossberg Patriot .308 :-). So I decided (ok rationalized) that a new 9mm was a smart move. No, my wife isn't buying any of the "9mm will save me a ton of money" or "this will keep me from ruining my Kimber" or... well that's all I got, besides I wanted it. So I figured Kimber guys are like all gun guys and like pictures of guns.... Springer XDm 9mm 3.8" full size, 19+1.

Nice ... I like it. I know many still aren't into the polymer guns yet but I'm a convert. After I held my first Glock I was sort of "meh". Then held the Sig 320 and now I have two and a Walther P-22. I like all kinds of pistols, whatever the material. Plus I have invested only $1200 for all three, NIB.

A full size Springfield sounds like a great field gun to me.

Congrats on your new shooter Doons. No need to apologize since we don't brand bash on KT. Looking forward to your first range report.

Have a few polymer guns in my safe along with those Kimbers. Everyone likes anything that goes bang here. If you were looking for a high capacity full size 9mm that will sure get the job done.

Congratulations on your new XDM. I’ve had my share of polymer guns. They always seem to be reliable, they take a beating and they’re perfect for carrying in harsh conditions. I carry my M&P 45 when I’m hunting or walking through the woods. These guns have a tough finish and no matter how much mine gets bumped and banged it still looks brand new and functions 100%.

Congrat's on the XD. I've shot my sons a couple of times and actually am quite impressed by their trigger, and they do seem to take a beating.
