WC front strap

Didnít want to hijack the other thread.
I picked up one of those SS front strap thingies from Wilson but for the life of me canít see how itís supposed to fit. One side/ edge is flat but the other has a bend in it that looks as though itís supposed to fit into a slot on the guns frame. But of course thereís no slot. Pics hard to see.

Remove your grips, slip the WC strap over the strap of the gun. The lips on the WC strap slip into the cutouts in the frame of the gun and it's held in place by the guns grips.

There’s only a lip on one side, if I place that into the cutout on the frame then the other side won’t go under the grip.

It's possible it was accidentally bent, both sides should look the same. It's very thin material, you should be able to easily bend it back into shape.

Yeah I thought it might be defective but wasn’t sure. Both sides are very different. Didn’t want to go bending on it until I knew. Thanks.

Okay, I have been looking at this too long. Please enlighten me of what this is and what purpose does it serve?

This is a checkered frontstrap that covers a smooth frontstrap so you get some grip. Your grips hold it in place.

Thank You JC! I was about ready to go mad trying to figure this out. I'm just not with the program anymore!
