My EDC's

My Kimber and it's new night stand partner. Hamilton Field Officer Mechanical (for you youngsters, you have to wind it every couple days). It won't actually be my EDC watch but it will be in the rotation. I have...ummm.... to many timepieces. I have a problem.....

Reminds what happened the other day. Found out my 17 year old granddaughter cannot tell time on a analog clock. She tells me none of her friends can and wonders why us old people don't just look at our phones for the time. Don't know if that is sad or scary.

Lol. Yesterday after all these years my 10 year old grandson asks me Pop what's in the safe? So after supper I open the safe and we check it out. His first statement, wow that's a lot of guns. He was surprised at how heavy the rifles and pistols were, the M1A was almost bigger than he was. He liked the Gold Combat LE, he really liked the Sapphire Ultra.

This is what got me shaking my head. Before I pulled out the Ruger Birdshead .45acp, I asked him had he seen the old cowboy movies, westerns, six shooters, you know Roy Rodgers, John Wayne...he looked at me like I was from Mars and had two heads. I said OK never mind we will fix that next time you spend the night and you get your ipad off your nose and we will watch some old movies.

Sad IMO. I'm betting that reading/writing cursive may also be an issue.
