Eclipse Ultra / Solo

Finally took the Eclipse Ultra II to the range and she was fantastic!! A lot less "kick" than I thought. Put 200 rds of Win1911 FMJ, The only issue was me! was shooting to the left a little, sorry.. forgot to take pics. I will next time, I promise!

Solo: ran perfect again but only put 54 rds in her, Hornady 135 gr Flexlock. The Solo has worked great for me, I have about 700 rds total in it. Took both apart for cleaning and inspection, look great and not dirty.

That's one of the reasons I also went with the Eclipse Ultra II, it's heavier to carry EDC. But it more than makes up for it in controlability. Double Taps are Faster on target because you get a Push instead of Muzzle jump or flip. Glad your happy with it, I wouldn't trade mine for a new Wilson Combat. It's absolutely reliable, and I Shoot better with it than any other I own.

The Eclipse will be my new EDC as soon as my permit comes in the mail with this added, I can only have 4 pistols on my permit!! I am leaving the Solo on there but it will become my back up carry. Eclipse is the winner for me, love the smoothness and control. For now, just stand a little left when I need to shoot you!! lol

Maybe he has to have his carry gun listed on his permit and he can only have 4.

That little left will work itself out the more you shoot it and get used to the trigger. Try centering your finger tip on the trigger. The further in or out will sometimes cause you to pull right or left. But you will love it for carry, just buy a good shoulder holster or some good suspenders.

Nevada used to required that each handgun be listed on the CCW permit, but not anymore.

For now, I can own as many guns as I want. I am only allowed 4 guns on my permit. I have to get qualified for ea. gun as well. If I decide to swap one out that is not on my permit I have to shoot it with an instructor ($60.00) get my certificate, take it to the sheriffs dept and add it ($10.00) I just took off a H&K USP comp 9 and swapped it for the Ultra. Ridiculous..Yes.

In Michigan I can carry Your gun with my CPL. As long as the gun is registered. I've taken my buddies 460 Smith home in the front seat for deer season.
