Dents in Casings?

Hello Everyone,

My Desert Warrior hasn't been giving me anymore FTF issues but I noticed that about 75% of my spent casings have a dent in the side about half way up the casing. Is there any way to stop this from happening? I plan on reloading soon and I try to save the majority of my brass and I'm afraid that even after resizing that some of these casings aren't going to be worth it.

Thanks!

Sounds like the extractor is a little tight and when the ejector hits the back of the shell its banging off the back of the ejection port. Might have to tweek that extractor a little so it doesn't hang on to the shell that tight.

Check out the video we have in our "Gunsmith" sub forum on "How To Check The Extractor Tension".

What Al and Chuck said. That was my first guess sounds like your casing is making hard contact on the way out.
