Thumbs down Gold CombatII vs Gold Match II

Hi To All,
Recently, I posted a thread about buying a Gold Match II. I have recently become interested in the Gold Combat II. Is the latter worth the higher price?
Both are SS

The Combat is a badass gun. I don't care for target sights generally so it would be worth it to me. Kimber's stainless holds up very well too so that's the way to go IMO.

I have a Gold Combat stainless. To me it is not an apples to apples comparison. Bull barrel vs bushing. Sights. Checkering and magwell. Grips. And other tooling on slide. As far as accuracy they are probably the same or comparable as I have Team match guns too.

The gold combat is heavier but has more features.

Worth more money? Don't know! But I want a Gold Combat Limited Edition or if I can't find that a Gold Combat Stainless. Nothing against the Match but I don't want/need adjustable sights.

I have a full size Colt with adjustable sights, have never moved them once it was sighted in, I used it in 3 gun matches and the range.
For me just don't see a need for adjustable sights on a 1911 unless you are going to shoot targets or bowling pins at 100 yards. They are a little more likely to get bumped or broken. I know several people have Kimber's with adjustable sights and I am not knocking them.

Thanks Everyone,
I am now paying for BOTH. In a few months I will be able to compare. I will then be the owner of 3 Kimbers. I will probably decide which I like best;Combat or Match, then sell the other. I do not see the need for both. Having waited to age 65 to buy my first gun, it is unimaginable that I will ever be a competitive shooter. I am very proud of the fact that I can usual y hit my targets at 50 feet.
