6-1-18 Range Trip

Had a chance to do a lunch time range trip yesterday. For this trip, I brought my Micro Raptor, Solo CDP and Dan Wesson Valor. I'm still in breakin stage with the Micro Raptor. Yesterday got me up to the 150 round mark and have not had any issues at all. My Solo was starting to feel like the red headed step child and I brought it along for some much needed range exercise as I had not shot it since putting the rosewood grips on it. I'm right at 250 rounds and have not had one single failure. I even shot two mags of FM 115 gr ammo with it, and this little pistol functioned flawlessly. I'd recently installed a Wilson Combat Flatwire Recoil Spring and Bullet Proof Extractor on the Valor and it also performed without any issues.

Target pic attached. All rounds shot at 10 yrds. Head shots were the Solo, Chest Area (8) on target was the Valor 9mm and Center Mass was the Micro Raptor.

All in all a great lunch time excursion

What a great way to spend a lunch. I was in a Jimmy Johns cutting my footlong with my faithful Buck knife......

Good shooting and glad to hear the Solo is working as intended.

Wow, that's a great session. Sounds like everything is running well, and those flatwire springs are a great replacement.

I wish there was a JimmyJohns somewhere around the Range I go to. I love their sandwiches. Liberty Range is less than 10 min from my office and Iím usually standing at their door when they open at noon. More often than not, Iím the only one shooting when I go during lunch time.
