Randall SS 1911 .45 Mags

Waaaay back in 1980 I did an industry deal with Randall Firearms who produced the very first stainless steel 1911 prior to Colt.

As a result, I have three (3ea.) of their stainless steel .45 ACP 7-round mags available for sale, but have no idea of what these rare babies are worth. I'm funding another project, don't need them, don't want to use them as they're unused at present.

Anyone have an idea of what they're worth?

Thanks Chuck, that's about what I expected. All this older stuff is really getting scarce and pricey.

I have no use for them, as the money will go to more 'useful' mags for my nines and .45 1911's.

DON'T worry Arland, there's no worry about those moron's ever having anything tendered to them in my future. And if by chance I ever decide to do so, it will be insured for five times it's value and taped up to resemble a 3M tape ad.

GRRRRRR! See...I'm still growling. (I think maybe wifey snagged that new Aegis to take my mind off it. )

Just wondering, how did wifey know you wanted that model. My wife would never do that, mine wouldn't have a clue about which pistol to buy.

Wifey is purty savvy. She just retired from a "major bullet manufacturer" here as Purchasing Agent recently, and as such she dealt with Kimber for years, plus she's been married to this guy who's been a lifelong 1911 addict.

It was fairly easy for her to figure out. (Hint here, hint there....)

Ahah, Mrs. Wifey has it going on, there's the difference my wife retired from Georgia Health Dept. Now if I needed a "Coach" pocketbook I would have no worries she can pick the most expensive with her eyes closed. Mine could probably come up with something from Kimber but exact model would be over her pay grade.

Got it. Expert in a different field. Good to have an expert about the place.

The downside to having wifey so clued in to guns, is that it's about impossible to sneak anything new in the house. Even Pat McManus's "Ten Ways to Sneak Guns Into the House" doesn't work....she's too savvy for any of that nonsense having been at "N___r" for so many years around that stuff every day.

But it sure does help when I ask her to go to the LGS to pick up something.

Back on track, I don't know how many people are "holding" a Randall pistol but I would guess it is a pretty low number and I assume it will take one of those owners willing to spend the $ for your magazines.

Good luck.
