Different trigger

What is the difference between a flat trigger and a curved trigger. I notice that on competition guns they seem to have flat tiggers. So why the difference and why to have them. Thanks

The only real difference is how the trigger feels when shooting. Really just personal preference between the two. Same can be said whether a person likes a short, medium, or long trigger. Hand size can come into play here as well.
