Offical Email

Got the official email from Kimber, new products for 2019! I've said this before, sorry but I was not impressed or even slightly interested.

Strictly for range fun I might consider a pistol with a Optic but I would like to try one out before I buy one.

Don't blame you a bit, Arland. I took the chance with my Aegis Elite Custom (OI), but in the end, it was a better overall experience than I had anticipated.

Virtually every aspect of shooting is more enjoyable with the optic. Faster sight acquisition, more demonstrable accuracy, faster on-target hits....you get the idea. If you snagged one and did not like it, I'd be amazed. If that happened, I'd wager you'd find a home for it post haste.

Damn shame I don't live close to you brother...I would try yours out. I suspect if we lived closer together all of a sudden there would be another Ammo shortage! lol.

You know I would probably like the optic maybe even love it I just don't tolerate "CHANGE" very well.

That's kind of the way I was back in the day when I bought the first Crimson Trace grip for the CDP Ultra. I had held and pointed one in the gun shop but not fired the pistol. I was uncertain if I would like/keep it or not. I have four Kimber's with CT grips now so I guess that's a GO and a big thumbs up!

I'm not Arland but Texas is a gun friendly state and I'm proud of that fact.

Aaaah, the home of "Honest hisself"!, Honest Charley's Speedshop! Back in the day I ordered a complete one piece fiberglass front end for a 1965 Mustang I was building up. I just looked online and his business is still operating!

Also home of one of the most lucrative speed traps in the country! I myself had an up close and personal experience with it on my way to Daytona a few years ago. LOL!

OLE442, I doubt very many Saturdays went by that at some point I didn't visit the Speed Shop. Went even when I had no money to spend. Had car shows there, once my Cuda' was a feature car and it sat in the Show Room for a couple weeks. Sadly I don't know if anyone took a picture of it when it was in there. No cell phone pics like today.

Sounds good to me. I adapt quickly. I went to college in Virginia rarely went home. Virginia is not a friendly gun state so not going there. I want to get property and build a range on it for my friends here to come. Thank you and enjoy your weekend.

I don't know how much land is going for but there is a lot to pick from in Hamilton County. If I was younger I would want acreage on the lake (Chickamuga)/Tennessee River.
A range on my own property would be awesome.
