Talk me out of TLE

Leaning towards TLE and outfitting it with light for a bed stand gun. Any alternatives or other brands to consider?

I have two stainless TLEs, Custom & Ultra. I love them both, but my nightstand gun is my FN FNX-45 with Truglo TFX Pro sights. Can't really argue with 15+1 rounds of .45 ACP happiness.

Well since you asked. This is my NSG; Sig Sauer P229 Legion with the Sure Fire XC2 light/laser combo.
16 rounds of Critical Defense and two extra mags of the same in the drawer.
How'd I do?

Love my 45s but my ears are messed up enough, Iít rather have a 9mm. While protection is paramount in the home, saving our ears, is important too. May not save your ears entirely, but a 9 is just as good. Imho..

We had a member that recently put a great night stand gun up for sale: JC45. You might want to get in touch with him. Just a thought.

That wasnít me Skip. I havenít sold anything in a while.

My gun safe is in my bedroom so basically anything in that safe is a nightstand gun. I keep my Sig P226 Elite Dark and my wifeís M&P 9 fully load with one in the chamber. All my 1911ís have a full magazine and are ready to go. My AR,AK and shotguns are also ready to go. You probably donít want to break into my bedroom. I also keep my CZ75BD hidden on the first floor hanging on a magnet.

I like high capacity guns for the house or nightstand. I donít worry about hiding guns because I have no children in the house.

I have an Ultra TLE II 45, itís a great gun. I would probably go with a Pro or Custom for the nightstand with a 10 round magazine.

You're itching for a new 1911, get one in 9mm if you like the platform...
